Not sure where your science degree will take you? You're not alone, and there's no single "right" path.

Beyond the Bench brings together upper-year students and professionals who have worked in academia and other fields. They'll share how they got to where they are today, including the twists, turns and changes of direction along the way.

What to Expect:

• Moderated panel discussion - Panelists will talk about where they started, key decisions and challenges they faced, and where they've ended up You'll see that a non-linear path can be just as valuable and rewarding as a straight-forward one.
• Audience Q&A - Ask the panelists your own questions about careers, grad school, changing directions, or anything else on your mind.
• Food and refreshments will be provided!

Panelists included Dr. Alisha Szozda, Abdullah Al-Jaradat and Brian Jones.

Whether you're in first year or getting close to graduation, this is a chance to learn about the many careers open to science students and connect with people who've been where you are.
